Privacy Policy

What we collect

Celia is a free tool with the smallest data footprint we can manage. We collect only:

  • Email address — used to sign you in. We never email marketing.
  • Password — stored hashed via Supabase Auth. We never see your plaintext password.
  • Your meal plans, custom meals, favorites, and child preferences — entered by you, used to power the app.

What we don't collect

  • No analytics, no tracking pixels, no third-party trackers.
  • No ads.
  • No selling data to anyone, ever.
  • No social media integrations.

Where it's stored

Your data lives in a Supabase database on infrastructure provided by Supabase Inc. and Amazon Web Services. Each user can only access their own data — enforced by row-level security policies on the database.

AI features

When you use the ✨ AI meal generator, the request you type and your child's dietary preferences are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate suggestions. Anthropic does not use API requests to train their models by default. See Anthropic's privacy policy for details.

Children's data

Celia is intended to be used by parents/guardians to plan meals for their children. The "child" data in the app (name, calorie target, dietary preferences) is managed by the parent's account. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

Deleting your data

You can wipe all your data at any time from Settings → Reset everything. To delete your account entirely, email the address below and we'll remove it.

Cookies

Celia uses one essential cookie to keep you signed in. No tracking or advertising cookies.

Changes

If this policy changes meaningfully, we'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted on the login screen.
